Google Summer of Code (Boost Drupal Media Module Development)

I will be working with the Drupal Media Project accelerate development and bring the project closer to a beta release.

CFBackup

CFBackup is a small ruby program that transfers files or directories from the local machine to Mosso Cloud Files. It is meant to serve as a useful tool for automated backups.

Animated Mandelbrot

I’ve always had a fascination with fractals, so to continue gaining experience with Objective-C on the Mac platform, I decided to try my hand. When finished, this application will allow the user to specify the starting and ending points on the graph and then generate a movie which will smoothly zoom to the desired coordinates.

Start Date: December 2008
Project Status: 95% complete – Further work indefinitely suspended.

Super Cell

Super Cell is my first dive into programming on the Mac platform using Objective-C. This project began with the goal of testing multi-processing systems, however, it has morphed into a simple interactive simulation where the user gets to play “god” and adjust resources of the world during play.

Start Date: November 2008
Project Status: Pending rewrite based on knowledge learned from the Animated Mandelbrot project.

iScripture.org

The idea to create my own online Bible application occurred one day in church while being frustrated at the slow speeds of various online Bible applications over AT&T’s pathetic data network.

Start Date: March 2008
Project Status: Active (Development Blog)
Mission: To be the fastest free internet accessible Bible application available for the iPhone.
